My name is Ms.
Hoerner and I am the Title 1 Reading and
Math teacher at Theodore Jamerson
Elementary School. I have been a
teacher at TJES for over 28 years.
I love the start of each new school year
because it is so enjoyable to welcome back
families and see all the familiar faces
and meet new students and families too!
A little bit about myself, I have two
grown sons who are married and own a lawn
care service together. I am also a
grandmother and love every minute I spend
with my grandchildren.
I am trained in Orton Gillingham reading
and Math Recovery.
I use the training from these two programs
to tailor instructional needs for students
who may need additional help to meet
benchmark goals.
