Registration Information

Parents can register in building #74 anytime during office hours of 8:00 to 5:00 on or after July 31st.
• All parents are encouraged to sign up for Emergency Notification System (ENS) provided by UTTC campus safety and security. This service will notify you of weather and other events.
• TJES provides educational services for Native American students Grades Pre-K - 5 from the surrounding area.
• Preferential placement is given to the children of UTTC students.
• As an AdvancEd accredited educational institution, TJES is fully staffed with certified instructional professionals.
• Enrollment is open to all PK-^5th grade Native American students that can provide documentation that they are enrolled members of a U. S. Federally recognized tribe or have documents that show the elementary student/s has/have a minimum of ¼ Degree of Native American blood, by lineage (birth relationships).
• TJES serves students in the Bismarck/Mandan area with priority given to children of UTTC enrolled students.

To complete registration You MUST have the following documents:

• Certificate of Indian Blood
• Certified Birth Certificate
• Up-to-date immunization records must be signed by parents
• Proof of custody including change of name
• UTTC Class Schedule

* Students who are 5 years old by December 31
will be in the Pre-K School program
* Students who turn 5 years old by July 31 will be
in the Kindergarten Program

* TJES main office is located in the large blue building in the center of the map
* Registration documents will be available in buildling 74 completed and need to be returned to Mrs. Eveleen Cook located in Building #74.
* Please turn documents into Mrs. Eveleen Cook in the main office.

Registration Forms

Beginning July 31st, 2023 - 2024 registration packets including all forms to be signed will be available in the TJES main office.

If you wish to complete the registrations forms and bring them to the office, the following links will provide the necessary forms.

Step1: Review the Student Handbook
Step2: Fill out then print* and sign the following Registration Packet.
** note: Some browsers do not support the (forms) function of these PDF documents. If the forms function (allows you to fill in fields before you print the documents) does not work, use Google Chrome or Safari.
Step 3: Bring completed forms and required documents (listed below) to Evelyn cook in building #74.

* If you decide to mail the completed forms, you must include a copy of the following •

• Certificate of Indian Blood

• Certified Birth Certificate
• Up-to-date immunization records signed
by parents
• Proof of custody including change in
name
• For UTTC Students, A Class schedule must be included.

• Reviewed & Signed Registration Packet

* Returning students that finished the previous academic year at TJES with completed (Certificate of Indian Blood, Certified Birth Certificate, Up-to-date immunization records and Proof of custody) records on file that did not submit a request of records for their child to transfers to a different school will not need to re-submit these records. Immunization records on file must be signed.

* We will make a copy of these documents for our file.

Applications must be returned with all documentation for approval prior to starting school on August 18.

Note: Bus registrations and route locations must be completed in the office.
Busing services require prior approval.
